Avoid stiff-bristled brushes and harsh or whitening toothpaste, which will be too abrasive and will damage your dentures. Boiling water will warp your dentures. Pay attention to water temperature. Avoid products that contain bleach or chlorine as they can weaken your dentures, cause discoloration or even corrode metal attachments. It is important to note that denture cleansers should never be used inside the mouth.
